Before visiting Chichén Itzá, your experience begins in the town of Kaua, Yucatán, with a stop at Real Mayab, a traditional handicraft center where local artisans create and sell authentic Mayan crafts.
Here you’ll witness a cultural demonstration led by a Mayan shaman, who performs an ancient cleansing ritual that offers a meaningful insight into Mayan spirituality.
After the ceremony, enjoy a regional buffet featuring cochinita pibil, chicken, pasta, vegetables, and fresh fruit before continuing the journey.
Your next stop is Chichén Itzá, one of the most iconic UNESCO World Heritage Sites and home to the legendary Kukulcán Pyramid. Walk through the ancient ceremonial grounds as your certified guide explains the meaning and purpose behind each structure, including the Temple of the Warriors, the Great Ball Court, and the Sacred Cenote, once used for important Mayan rituals.
